William from Auchterharder used to run a small bike in grass fields and had his first 500cc machine when he was just 10yrs old. He practised at Linlithgow at the age of 11 and made his conference debut for Newcastle in April 2002 scoring 15 + 1 from seven rides. His premier debut was in May 2003 for Newcastle scoring 8 from 6 rides.
William rode with both the Diamonds and the Gems at Brough Park but is now back north of the border enjoying his second seasn with the Monarchs. He has started this season in great form with Edinburgh and Wolverhampton in the Elite League. |
